Korean Studies is a double degree programme taught entirely in English. This programme is prepared in close cooperation with the South Korean partner Keimyung University in Daegu. The programme's central objective is to enrich the offer of studies related to Asia. In addition, this program responds to the growing interest in recent years for programms on the Korean Peninsula, its specificity and importance in international relations. The first year of studies takes place at the Jagiellonian University, at the Institute of the Middle and Far East. The second year takes place at the Korean partner university. The study plan consists of modules that allow not only to acquire sociocultural knowledge but also to develop the ability to navigate in the Korean environment and gain experience in field research. The research can be conducted during a one-year stay at a Korean university.
