About the program

Our course pays particular attention to the implementation of modern remote sensing and geo-information techniques, as well as spatial planning to promote sustainable urban and rural development. Students gain competence in the organization and management of optical, aerial and UAV campaigns and the processing of imaging spectroscopy data to map and monitor natural ecosystems, artificial infrastructure as well as natural hazards. With us they will gain knowledge of databases containing spatial and non-spatial data, data management, handling large databases and query optimization techniques.

This is therefore a course of study for those interested in both technical issues and natural sciences. Candidates for registration on this MSc course must first hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent).
