The Environmental Engineering programme focuses on solving engineering problems related to environmental protection and sustainable development. Graduates, awarded the title of Engineer, will acquire practical engineering skills based on a solid foundation in core subjects such as chemistry, mathematics, physics, biology, and microbiology.
Students gain a comprehensive understanding of environmental components and the fundamental technologies used in water protection, wastewater treatment, soil remediation, land reclamation, waste management, and air pollution control. Particular emphasis is placed on the environmental aspects of bioenergy production and the microbial foundations of biotechnological processes in environmental engineering.
