On 17 November, the results of the first edition of the EngiRank NEXT GENERATION European Ranking of Engineering Studies were announced in Brussels. It covered 225 universities from 27 EU member states.

The aim is to identify and promote the best, innovative, and effective engineering and technology degree programmes offered by European universities. The EngiRank ranking was prepared by the team of the Perspektywy Educational Foundation with the support of the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) in cooperation with the Elsevier publishing house. The ranking is an innovative combination of a regional ranking and a 'by subject' ranking.

The quality of engineering and technology programs offered by European universities was objectively compared at 18 technical universities in Poland. Our university was ranked 9th in the country and 149th in Europe. Of the seven academic disciplines that were compared 'by subject', our construction engineering (77th in Europe) and materials engineering (95th in Europe) were ranked highest.
